Psychedelic P*rn Crumpets have turned DIY psych-rock into a global phenomenon, with turtles as stage props, chaos as a business model, and a record label built so no one could tell them what their music should sound like.

The Australian five-piece started out playing university garage raves and somehow turned that chaotic energy into one of Australia’s most electrifying psych-rock exports, standing right alongside Tame Impala and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.

Albums like High Visceral, Shyga! The Sunlight Mound, and 2023’s Fronzoli stack thunderous riffs, prog twists, and gloriously weird lyrics into something that’s part headbang, part fever dream, which has earned them three WAMI Awards and ARIA nominations to prove it’s not just noise. But recordings only tell half the story.

Live, PPC turn every room into a sweaty, euphoric free-for-all, with crowd-surfers appearing out of nowhere, sing-alongs collapsing into mosh pits, fans leaving soaked and grinning like they just survived something.
