𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗿𝗲́𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲́ 𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗰 𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿.
[𝗙𝗥] 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗲, 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗲, 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 : 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝙉𝙞𝙢𝙗𝙖, 𝗹𝗮 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲́𝗲 𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗲̀𝘃𝗲 𝗮̀ 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝘁 𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀.
Inspiré par deux grandes figures de l’imaginaire guinéen, Aly Keita fait dialoguer mythe, paysage et mouvement. D’un côté, le masque Nimba (N’Dimba), symbole maternel du peuple baga, associé à la fertilité, à l’abondance et à la protection ; de l’autre, le mont Nimba, site naturel à la biodiversité aussi exceptionnelle que menacée. Au plateau, huit danseur·euse·s et circassien·ne·s libèrent une énergie saisissante au travers de gestes rituels, d’envolées acrobatiques et de pulsations musicales. Une heure haletante, pendant laquelle le chorégraphe et ses interprètes ne racontent pas la Guinée : ils l’incarnent.
[𝗘𝗡] 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝘀, 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰: 𝗶𝗻 𝙉𝙞𝙢𝙗𝙖, 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗮 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗿𝘂𝗺𝘀.
Drawing on two great figures of Guinean lore, Aly Keita weaves together myth, landscape, and movement. On one side, the Nimba (N’Dimba) mask, a maternal symbol of the Baga people, associated with fertility, abundance, and protection; on the other, Mount Nimba, a UNESCO World Heritage site, home to biodiversity as exceptional as it is endangered. On stage, eight dancers and circus artists summon a striking physicality through ritual gestures, acrobatic leaps, and pulsing rhythms. For one breathless hour, the choreographer and his performers do not tell Guinea’s story – they embody it.
